If you see a chasm of metaphorical 'red' whenever you contemplate the next steps in China, it likely means that progress has stalled. Your fears will predetermine your results. Your communications are counterproductive and appear to push you further from reaching a compromise or finding a viable solution. Tragically, more advice, knowledge, or insight is unlikely to illuminate the way forward in these mercurial situations, so the ubiquitous "expertise" surrounding China becomes white noise in an already chaotic scene.
A mindset shift, a new perspective, and a new way of thinking are now needed to reach the next level of success, and this begins by reimagining the playing field, which we call the Chinese arena, and ourselves as recruits that need to learn new rules, tactics, and strategies to prevail. It's a physical as well as a mental game.
